When a young couple move into a new house, they put their recently potted fern in the baby’s room with a vibrant stuffed bear.

Each night, Bear wants to go outside and play, imploring Fern to come along with him. But Fern is stuck in her ways, and doesn’t believe that potted plants can move at all – she believes it so strongly that she refuses to even try.

Months and years pass by, but Bear never stops trying to get his friend to join him in his adventures. Will Fern finally relent and try something new before it’s too late?
